Hike to Bald Knob, Bald Knob Parking Area - The Outbound
Unobstructed views with little hiking effort make Bald Knob one of the best locations to see the sunset in southwestern Virginia. Easy to access from US-460 in Giles County, take Mountain Lake Road (VA-700) for 7 miles and park in the gravel lot on the left by the intersection of VA-613 and Mountain Lake Outfitters.

Bald Knob | Hokie Hiker
Located at Mountain Lake, Bald Knob is one of several short hikes this area has to offer. It is a favorite of ours because we can decide to go here last minute for a quick hike (about 1 mile).

The mountain is located one mile south and 750 feet above the McNarma 10th Mountain Division Hut and the peak also is above Aspen, one of the most famous ski resorts in the United States.

About this Webpage
